REVIEW: It’s Okay To Not Be Okay (2020)
Dir: Park Shin-Woo

A mix of fairy-tale themed fantasy, romance, thriller and drama, It’s Okay to Not be Okay beautifully tackles different and complex human emotions. You may be in any part of the world, but mental health and issues related to trauma and depression will always be common to people.

This series over a span of 16 episodes, each which are an hour long, looks at the lives of Ko Moon Yeoung, a writer with a social ersonality disorder, Moon Gang Tae, a caregiver at a psychiatric hospital, and his autistic brother Sang Tae, whose left traumatized by a childhood memory related to butterflies.

This one’s an emotional roller-coaster of a series and so well developed that you feel why it had to end eventually.

It has some amazing performances by its cast. Brilliantly shot and edited, this one is an absolute favourite.

It’s Okay to Not be Okay streams on Netflix.
